Classroom Rules
My goal in establishing classroom rules is so that I can create a fun and safe learning environment for all students. In order for all my students to have the learning environment they deserve, I am instituting the following discipline plan.
Rules:
1. Be productive - Follow directions, listen, and use class time effectively.
2. Be polite - raise your hand, refrain from talking at inappropriate times, stay in your seat, etc.
3. Respect your classmates and your teacher.
4. Tell the truth.
5. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
Consequences:
1. Warning
2. Removed from activity
3. Writing assignment about misbehavior
4. Contact parents
5. Sent to office with a disciplinary form
This whole plan can really be summarized based on the concept of mutual respect. If you want respect, you must give it to others. That doesn’t just mean me, it means your classmates, and other members of the Ben Franklin community.
